Held throughout the summer the Junior Series is the perfect place for up and coming junior surfers to test themselves against their piers and gain valuable surf experience in a fun and relaxed environment where parents can come along (parents are encouraged to help push their kids into waves if needed) and support their future surf star.
This year we are going to change the format a bit so we can run more dates with fun activities even if Huey lets us down with waves. This will include running a fun expression session format for the younger surfers, plus some comps for the more experienced older juniors. And if Huey lets us down we are planning other beach activities, paddle races, basic coaching and fitness so can have a fun day even if no waves 🙂
As part of this summers events also looking to run a fun “Vazon Bay Alcove Classic” charity comp on old boards, foamies, finless boards etc.. this will be a charity fund raising day and more details will follow soon.
